Powertools for BIM production
Turn repetitive BIM work into faster, smarter workflows.
Powertools is a BIM workflow platform built for teams that need more than visual polish. It helps standardize documentation, reduce manual effort, and make production output easier to rerun when the project changes. With Model Checker, it also helps improve data consistency and make models and project documentation more reliable.
Toolset
Purpose-built workflows for repeated BIM production tasks
Powertools is a toolset designed to support every stage of the project. From documentation and sales sheet preparation to municipality submissions, early design phases, and final delivery, it provides solutions that minimize manual effort, reduce time loss, and simplify even major project changes.
Area Plans
Area Plans regenerates usable-area presentation in the active area plan by identifying apartments through apartment-number logic and rebuilding the full view output in one guided workflow.
Details
Details turns point-detail production into one coordinated workflow that connects marker placement, detail generation, automatic annotation, and renumbering into a more controlled documentation system.
ARIE
ARIE packages export intent into a monitored task queue so teams can submit IFC, PDF, and DWG outputs, choose the right setup, and hand off processing to a shared server-side workflow.
Exterior Dimensions
Exterior Dimensions analyzes exterior geometry and places requested dimension sets with configurable styles, offsets, and spacing so plans become presentation-ready faster and with less cleanup.
Interior Dimensions
Interior Dimensions builds temporary guide lines first, allows review and adjustment, then converts those lines into final interior or sales-style dimensions through a staged workflow.
Sales Drawings (KAO)
Sales Drawings (KAO) combines dependent-view generation and sheet population into a linked production workflow for repeated housing documentation built around apartment-number logic.
Room Tags
Room Tags automates active-view room tagging with configurable thresholds, different tag types for room-size bands, and optional support for grouped apartment layouts through attached detail groups.
Model Checker Set
A smarter validation layer for better model quality, stronger data consistency, and more reliable output
As Powertools’ review mechanism, Model Checker provides structured review workflows that help teams validate model quality, improve data consistency, and reduce repetitive checking work.
Apartment Number (Bouwnummer)
Apartment Number checks whether grouped apartment rooms use a populated and consistent apartment number value, then helps teams jump straight to the affected content and correct inconsistent groups from the same review flow.
ClashVolume Openings
ClashVolume Openings checks whether doors/windows inside linked structural walls have matching ClashVolume opening support and reports missing or misaligned conditions in a level-based review list.
Linked Wall-Grid Precision
Linked Wall-Grid Precision extends wall-to-grid checking into linked-model workflows by reviewing walls from a selected linked RVT against host grids with configurable tolerance logic.
Wall-Grid Precision
Wall-Grid Precision checks whether host walls sit at the expected precision relative to the nearest parallel host grid and groups the result by level with configurable strictness.
Mirrored Elements
Mirrored Elements reviews supported categories, groups findings by level, and helps teams jump directly to model content whose mirrored orientation needs investigation.
Room Tag Overlap
Room Tag Overlap checks selected plan views for collisions between room tag text and visible plan content, then reports both flagged tags and passed views in one structured review output.
Why it matters
A cleaner way to present real BIM production value
Powertools is not positioned as a generic app. It is a workflow platform for teams that need reliable documentation output, less repeated drafting, and more consistency across repeated deliverables.
Less repetitive drafting
Powertools targets the parts of BIM production that still depend on repeated clicking, redrawing, tagging, and dimension assembly.
More consistent output
The workflows make intent explicit so teams can produce views, dimensions, tags, and sheets with fewer project-by-project variations.
Faster repeatable delivery
Many of the tools are built to regenerate or rerun when projects change, which helps documentation stay current without restarting from scratch.
