Handoff and export workflow

ARIE

Submit IFC, PDF, and DWG exports as managed server tasks instead of interrupting active production on a local workstation.

Queued IFC handoff

Queued export control for more than one deliverable type

ARIE packages export intent into a monitored task queue so teams can submit IFC, PDF, and DWG outputs, choose the right setup, and hand off processing to a shared server-side workflow.

Manual IFC, PDF, and DWG export ties up production workstations, depends on each user remembering the correct setup, and offers little shared visibility into what has already been submitted or is still running.

Export scope

ARIE is not limited to IFC. The same queued export logic can also cover PDF and DWG outputs, so teams can manage multiple deliverable types through one monitored handoff flow.

Batch processing

These exports can run as Batch Revit Processor jobs, be placed into a queue, and be scheduled ahead instead of blocking active work on the user workstation.

Manual workflow

Powertools workflow

A user exports IFC directly on their own machine, selects a view, chooses export settings, waits for the process to finish, and manages the resulting file path locally.
Powertools surfaces the current queue, lets the user choose the relevant export setup, packages those decisions with model metadata, and submits the task to a monitored shared process.
During IFC export, the user is blocked from continuing production work in the Revit model.
With Powertools, IFC, PDF, and DWG exports can run as batch Revit Processor jobs so users can continue working in the Revit model.
Manual IFC export cannot be scheduled for a later time.
The export can be scheduled for a future time.
